When we started planning for the 2018 race, we had a goal of 200 runners – which would have been a record. With 293 pre-registered runners, it’s safe to say that we hit our goal… and we could get as many as 50 race day registrations. As a result, we want to give you as much information as possible to make your race day experience enjoyable.
If possible, we strongly suggest taking advantage of Packet Pickup at Turks on Thursday; that information is below.

- Check-in opens: 6:00am

Frequently Asked Questions
Are strollers allowed on the race course? No.
Can I run with my dog? Yes, only on the 5K course. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Since the event is chip timed, runners with dogs will start after the main pack has left the start area. We actually have a separate dog division & award.
Can I transfer my entry if I’m injured? Yes. You’ll need to message the race director by Tuesday, August 8 at info@brainydayfund.org
Is the course supported with water stations? Yes. There is one water station on the 5k course & two stations on the 10k course.
Can I buy a shirt on race day? Yes. We won’t have shirts available on the day of the race, but you’ll be able to order a shirt on the day of the race. We’ll ship the shirt directly to your house after the race.
Can I register on the morning of the race? Yes. Registration for the 5K is open from 6:00am – 7:00am. Registration for the 10K is open from 6:30am – 8am.
